Charles Lavin's Drapers.

Charles Lavin was also the owner of the Egyptian House, I believe.

The Egyptian House (originally Hall) is on property previously owned by James Tregarthen, Master Mariner, of St Mary’s Isles of Scilly. The land and buildings were purchased 3rd April 1835 by John Lavin. The building was erected for John Lavin, shortly after. As to whether or not subsequent family members occupied Egyptian House, my last cover was for Frances and her son Edward in 1861.
