On the 31st December 1894 changes were made to the boundary of Penzance.
Areas were created, under Local Government Act 1894, Penzance Civil, Madron in Penzance and Penzance in Madron.
The original circle (light blue) was maintained, as portions of the other areas.
Penzance in Madron (PiM) was three portions (blue).
Madron in Penzance (MiP) two portions (red).
This situation continued until after years of deliberation, a new boundary was formed 1st April 1934.
