The great viaduct at Hayle - 3

It was originally designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, friend of John Harvey.
The original was of timber, set on timber piles, built in 1851.
In 1884 it was re-built with the present granite piers, for the double track.
It is 841 feet long and 34 feet high. There are 37 spans.

Do you mean the 1862 Custom Building step? It is now the Harbour Office. Yes I did, I also got full coverage of what is now Carnsew Gallery and the old St George s Hall, which has come up a treat . The oldest Railway bridge in Cornwall .....
