The 1837 station is marked with red; I have also shaded the large building that shows on the Penpol Terrace picture showing the railway; until 1843, carriages were drawn along Penpol Terrace by horse (resticting sparks in the town), then taken across to the main section of rail to Redruth by steam locomotive.
