One day one of this idiotic numb-brains will hurt themselves, and the authorities will be blamed for not having a tight security; this is exactly what I mean about the intense lack of common sense and respect for others, let alone respect for oneself. They ride around on bikes for six year olds, leaping around like six year olds, and they have less awareness than the six year old should have.
Well, I have to admit to being one of those numb-brains in my youth. During the repairs to the promenade the contractors left their crane with ball and hook a couple of feet off the ground. Me and my mates used to take turns jumping on the ball and swinging ourselves over the deep hole caused by the storm. We had a rare old time, nobody got hurt or fell into the pit. We went back the next evening to find the ballhook fast atop the crane, spoilsports!!
Just in case anyone thinks that I was a goody two shoes I was an extreme tearaway as a youngster, gave my parents grief daily about where I was and what I was doing, but never caused any damage, or showed disrespect to others. As a youngster there was so much to be done, I took risks so help me, but considered risks. I do not see that concern for personal safety or for others.
