This is probably 1957 as the lad blowing up the ball or balloon is my brother Michael who left Heamoor at the end of the summer term in 1957. the girl sitting to the right of him is our sister Maureen who is 2 years younger than him

If I m not mistaken the guy in the cloth cap above the group is Clarrie Ash who looked after the pool at that time

The bloke standing next to Alfie Beckerleg could be a young Ken Jelbert who was lifeguard for many years and also taught swimming

::6: The man standing with the shorts on is Mr Blackburn swimming instuctor,and i believe thats me in the front the one with the curly hair, but i could be wrong, I also believe it was before 1957
