Well I have to say... I m happy Poundland is in town. They don t populate every town (despite what people think). They are a clever bunch that spend quite some time analysing capital and expenditure. For them to take on such a large store shows they are confident with trade in town. Anyway, when was the last time any shop owner, local or not, employed a celebrity to open a shop in Penzance..... perhaps this is a measure of their commitment. Good for them!
