Now that is excellent - wish I'd been there myself! On a trip to Canada, my wife and I spent a very enjoyable half hour sitting in a park feeding black squirrels (which I'd never seen before) with monkey nuts. I guess they were pretty used to humans, but you can't beat that bond of trust in such instances with a wild animal.
Still love seeing this little chap - I'd forgotten about him until I checked out the moon shot you posted, welb1931, and there he was in the left side panel on the page. What a gem of a shot.
@TT13....due to recent electrical storms there has been a lot of tree trimming and our little friends have
seemed to have left us at least for while I hope, my wife is very disapointed she had them so tame she
called them by name and they ate out of her hand - perhaps they will return when the colder weather arrives..
