PSV licence

@ symonds55...its suprising what one may find when digging through relics. a 1952 licence, ticket
tops from return tickets and behold a pay slip for
9.14.4d...oddly the pay clerk at that time was
Phyllis Symonds a newlyn girl...relation perhaps ??
Yes I know the name, can't remember the link, my fathers side were from newlyn, grandfather was a carpenter, and Dad was a painter and decorator, and I am a Newlyner.
By the way I also put up my PSV licence earlier about 20 years newer than yours.::11:

Well looked out! An interesting blast from the past, Welb! A conductor's licence no less. Did you ever get struck by lightning incidentally?Uf2

@symonds55..A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then-just realized
that was 58 years ago and it was darn good pay at that time too...man I must be
getting old !! any one remember the old Dennis 'bus' that used to operate on the
Mousehole route ?? they were replaced with Bedford coaches....

@Tpp..no it may have been close from time to time !! I had a marriage licence-
that was never re-newed perhaps because there has been no storms in the past
46 years !!!
