OK this part of town is known as Shakerleys corner. May years ago it was a chemist. This picture was taken in 1975. Above Hepworths (Burtons today) was Nikki's hair salon (today Sports Que) and Lennards shoe (to the right of the chemist)shop is today Threshers, it was built in 1905 as The Public Benefit Boot Company.
