We got off lightly this time, I hope we don't get another, but the odds are building, worst recorded in 1817, like San Andeas ... it's gonna break sometime. It will do more damage than any intended destruction, if we do not go with present insane ideas and look after what we have. The bay NEEDS a breakwater. The Promenade NEEDS its base clay protected. The Shingle banks NEED Groynes.
as I said in a previous pic...went for a walk to lidls and we could see the HUGE waves coming across... good pic..we didn't walk along the prom....back home, so no pics were taken by us.....sorry.
