R.M.S. Scillonian - Judges

Whilst he was working on Tresco in 1956 my father sent this to my mother. Leaving here on Wednesday boat. Will be unloading kit when we get back so no need to meet boat. Will be home fairly early
Although named Scillonian she is the second of that name, referred as Scillonian (II).

I cannot quite figure out just where this was taken ... must be Southampton.

Whoops, sorry; didn t think of that. A card from Tresco depicting R.M.S. Scillonian and I thought that ll do ; mind you the background is scarcely noticeable in the original. Scanning does get you right into the detail of some of these photographs; I m finding a lot I hadn t seen in originals.
