My father took one similar to this one; the crab pots were not there; not that I can find it now. That is the name of The Studio . We will slowly check those later than 1939 to be sure, we have lists of photographers and some copyright owners. Anything after 1960 will certainly be a problem and should not be uploaded, a number of those back between 1930 to 1960 have ceased trading and no copyright has been handed down, others before 1930 have copyright continuous and will be checked. There will be a page set out later on about this subject.
Treeve, after consultation with yourself and other administrators I resolved to offer these postcards, with whatever attribution I was able to provide, and let the administrators determine whether they were suitable for publication.
I trust your judgement much more that I trust my own and I also suspect that you are better able to estimate the age of those pictures where it is not explicit.
I do appreciate the effort put into running this site and would not wish to impose too much of a burden very much, but neither do I wish to hold back images which are admissible. I hope I am getting the balance about right.
