Laundry cottage in 1985

This one shows the roof line, but unfortunately doesn't include the 'leaning' chimney (at near end) spotted in the 1940's picture.
Ah yes, It looks a lovely cottage from the outside and I bet the inside is just as good if not better?

I ve never seen the inside. I toyed with the idea of taking a holiday there to have a good nose, but even low-season it is out of my league. Mind you it sleeps nine so hardly surprising it is expensive.

Umm..I didn t know that they let this cottage out? but I suppose it would be silly not to....I might take a walk up there and have a nose around myself, as I didn t know this cottage was there either. ::15:

We went once more, a few years later, and at that time there was a family living there. But the NT have had it on their holiday lets list for a few years now. It is over £300 for three nights in February and almost two thousand for a peak summer week. (Mind you shared between four couples that wouldn t be so bad I suppose.)

That s only for one week! I can see why you chose not to taking a holiday in the cottage......
