I have had a favourable response to my messages - it appears this is a long standing issue and Planning have it all well in hand; controls will be set to ensure a good hedge is built.

A friend of mine, who is in her late seventies,worked as a typist for The Western Union at Alverton Court. I remember it being Alverton Court Hotel in 1980 s prior to it becoming a Nursing Home.
