Seascape from the cave at Nanjizel - circa 1974
Taken with a Nikon F using GAF500 slide film. The high asa rating of the film gave it that grainy, arty look that built up something of a following in the 70s. I'm not sure it really lends itself to this particular subject but that's what I had in the camera at the time.

Amazing combination Nikon F and GAF, still have my Nikon F, using that set my standards, but, with a 500mm lens it is plain too heavy, now more than happy with the Fuji FinePix S100fs.

I still have mine but haven't touched it or the FM2 since going digital.
'Fuji FinePix S100fs' - looks like a fine piece of kit and fantastic value. Who needs interchangeable lenses with a zoom range like that and sealed against dust as well - brilliant. It's amazing what can be done with just a half-decent compact though...

Just passed over my fine pix this year in favour of the Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ5, fantastic bit of kit.

Technology moves on at an ever dizzying rate - where will it all end?
My first foray into digital photography, the original Sony P1 digicam with just 3 measly megapixels produced some fine images though but then it cost me 400 smackers s/h!!!

And there are things ahead that we aren't even aware of yet, technology seems to have no bounds. In my day the Box Brownie was a fantistic bit of kit.::11:
