Yes, but what did these people do??? I see pictures of all these folks dressed in their finery but never heard of them (even though I used to meet them all the time in town). Now, some will say that it is because they never wanted publicity yet here they are, showing off their medals and finery to each other. Seems to me to be just another a boys club.

Have to confess, never got the masonic thing or their wannabees.

I remember Penlee 7821 being at the Red Lion, Newlyn back in the 50's..............

@ welb. The little room they used at the Red Lion was burgled and most of the Lodge regalia and history stolen. They moved to the purpose built RAOB Club in Belgravia Street Penzance around 1994.

Didn't they have premises in Bread St prior to that?

@ BoP. Yes the RAOB Club was in Bread Street prior to 1994. The premises are now the Studio Bar. Penlee Lodge as far as I am aware were never part of the Bread Street complex.
