Nice picture,just as well there are no cars,this guy is driving on the wrong side of the road!

I think this photo is actually looking up Alexandra Rd from just north of the Promenade and the building on the left could be the Minalto. Further up on the right there appears to be the terrace of houses some of which are now Guest Houses. My Guest House (The Dunedin) was built in 1886, as were some of the others by a builder with the name of Openeimer. So, the date of the photo was after 1886 and possible early 1900's, hope this helps.Regards,John Bolton.
