aww he was a great family pet....I remember having this as my desktop picture/background...sticks or stones no matter how BIG he will find them and bring them back!!...

Ah, thanks. Yeah, everyone I know calls it Madron Carn, but I did see notices up there when they started getting rid of the rhododendron plants which said it was Trengwainton Carn. Doesn't roll off the lips easily enough for me!
Can you get to that water easily? There doesn't seem to be a footpath near...
There's a track that leads in from the northwest (top left in the picture) but the last time I went there it disappeared into some very watery ground; I'm not certain that it's meant for public access in any case.
