What a fantastic variety of geological specimens (some of them semi-precious) one may gather on the beach between Eastern Green and Marazion: quartz, chert, agate, chalcedony, gabbro, granite, serpentine, bloodstone, moonstone,slates and even topaz and amethyst if you're lucky. I recall reading that there are few places where one can find such diversity of stones and pebbles.
