This is a pic taken by me of Nick and David Gough competing in the Fireball National Championships in 1981.
The event was put on by PZ SC and you can see the seafront in the background. It was a grey and windy week.
We didn't know each other at the time but we were destined to become firm friends - strange how things work out sometimes...
