Cornwall Farm (1) 1959

This one should be a challenge to locate, no idea where other than Cornwall 1959 written on the tin in which the negatives were filed. As the photographer, Keith Coles, took many photographs in the Penzance, Mousehole and St Ives area it is possible that this was also taken in the vicinity. There are many negatives of this farmyard, it would be good to be able to share them with the current owner, if the farm still exists.

It's difficult to tell from this view point. Alot of farms were built the same down this way. It's Cornish alright with the classic Granite walls and Cornish stone hedges. It even has electricity and that was something even in 1959 on a farm.

@Halfhidden Yes, I realise identification would be difficult, there are one or two others taken a little further into the farmyard and I shall post one of them later. The majority of the farm-series negatives seem to concentrate more on the animals rather than the environment.

These are still fascinating images. Tracey and I think we may have an identity for the farm, but it is a best guest approach. Can't wait to see the other slide
