Ah, that would make sense. I read the Q as an L. So what does the Quay mean? Quay Street? Sleeping rough on the quay itself?!

Lyonesse built by Harveys in 1890, hostelry was beginnig of Quay Street

Sorry treeve, I think you thought I meant St Mary's Isles of Scilly, when I meant St Mary's parish church, Chapel Street! No wonder I didn't get that
