To the left of the building as we look at it is still Site 3 Residential parc but behind the building is foxes Field housing. The building you are looking at was one of the first and what is now Pro Line Windows. The one to the right was Jack Stephens Tyres, now of course A.T.S.
Of course the road has now been much widened to four lanes. Was Jelbert Way constructed at this time? Can t see if it is there or not, but there must have been some way to get to the businesses here!
The road was there, as there had to be one thro to the heliport altho at that time it was not adopted, also about 69/ 70 building was started on the flats and chalets.
