Family Photo

This was my Grandparents and their 12 children, it was taken in the front garden of their 'Town House' which was 'Porthia' Trewithen Road, Pz. the house is still there altho it is now 3 or 4 flats, the conservatory is also still there. This was taken in the 1930's I think, I say this because the young lady in white on the right as you look at it is/was my Mother and she was the youngest of the 12.
Thanks, I carefully took it out the frame to photograph it, as the photo was mounted on board, I then fitted it back in with minimum damage. The framing was done by John Peak funeral directors and picture framers.

I'm the youngest of 9 so I really enjoyed looking at this pic. What always amazes me about big families is how different each child is both in temperament and looks. While I was away, a singer/comedian said that he was the youngest of seven boys (like me!) and that they were all bed-wetters. They all shared the same bed and by the time he was two, he knew how to swim!
