These crafstmen were true artists. Not in the sense of the 'modern' idiotic 'unmade bed syndrome' and all the fawning followers, but in the true expression of the moment.
I have now been reminded of my plans to make a record of these paving stones, complete, as well as completing my photographing in Truro, for the inscriptions on them.
