Now a bank, formed by Cowell, Drewitt and Wheatley c1970; there are portions of the original c1780 building in the fabric.
I will post up a picture of this building in 1897. Harvey's Emporium was the shop outlet of Hayle, as until c1870, virtually no other shops opened; it appears that the workforce were paid in 'vouchers' to be spent in Harvey's outlets. When shops did eventually get built, it was in spaces not already occupied, hence the front garden shops and so on.
