Hugh Town - 24

The Parade; so named from its use in the Napoleonic Wars as a muster parade ground. The houses to the north (right) date from before 1790. To the south they are largely 1820. The Parade was enclosed and planted c1890, it being previously sometimes called 'The Green' despite it was anything but green.
