MFV Jasmine – ex CN110 Built in 1958, by Alexander Noble’s yard in Girvan, Scotland. This 50ft long, 18ft beam fishing boat was built for ring-netting the herrings, is of wooden construction (larch on oak), and is typical of Scottish boats built for that fishery. When she finished fishing she was used by a wildlife trust to run trips out for whale and dolphin watching. Since her arrival in Penzance she has been converted for cruising, and will, on completion carry a gaff ketch rig.
