Built around 1840 on land owned (previously by Richard Oxnam) by The Reverend Thomas Vyvyan; The chapel was used by the Methodist New Connexion Church, then when vacated to new premises, it was taken over by West Cornwall School, until they moved to York House (now Penwith District Council Office). It became a Youth Centre and then an Upholsterers. The Chapel is now a private house. It has been rendered for many years.
