This is one of the communal dormitories for herring gulls, this one at Lariggan rocks; the stream of Lariggan Brook now has found its route, as the sea has set the shingle where it wants (for now); the swans (these are not the road crossing variety) feed from the outflow; there is quite a shuffle and noise as the birds decide just where they are going to settle, and just with whom they agree to share space.
