I missed this photo when it was first put up, sparky! Do you know anything about the old stone cross that seems to have been revealed when they cleared the Carn of rhododendrons and so on. I wonder if anyone knew about it before then. I didn't and that's for sure!
This is Trengwainton Cross; it could be seen before the rhododendron was cleared, though at times it could be somewhat tricky to find in the profusion of shrubbery, bracken, brambles etc. I haven't heard about any discoveries since the clearance.
