Better (although not entirely gorse-proof!) clothing meant I could get up close to these stones today; I found the Madron side marked with a 'G'; presumably, this is from when the boundary with Zennor was shared with Gulval (which was later absorbed into Penzance, Madron and Zennor civil parishes, although Gulval is still an ecclesiastical parish in its own right).
