I don t know what this building is, but in the distance, with the white Folly, is Castle Gayer, built on a reputed site of an earlier site, this one built in around 1870 for Robert Glasson Michell, wealthy merchants. The name has nothing to to with the Gayer family as they did not enter this part of Cornwall, I have full details of the family and maritime connections on my website.
