Sunday trading was quite useful - even for R.C.s coming out of church! Mrs Joan Lawrence ran this shop on the corner of Medrose Tce where Rosevean Rd. comes into Empress Ave. Joan was a well-liked and respected lady. The shop too is sadly missed, having long since been converted into a home only. The ladies outside are my wife and my mother!
