Mill waterfall

At Rosehill farm is a waterwheel, which was fed from a leat, taken from the mill pool. The pool remains and the sluice gates. Aside from the water which was taken from Madron well, this stream provided the earliest water supply for the town, from the two pools at Polteggan and Boswednan, long before the new Reservoirs.
