I was quite astounded to find my mother, aunties, uncle & grandparents in this photograph, i have since spoken to my mother & she remembers it well.The Jenkins family lived at No 23, & Sid, my grandfather (far right), organised the event with the chap who was landlord in the pub opposite.My mother Doreen is the middle girl of the 3 girls on the left, & other aunties+uncle+grandmother are spread around.We did spend some fantastic holidays in penzance back in the late 50's & early 60's although it was quite a journey from the north east where my parents moved to, i was born there in 1953.My father was stationed at RAF Sennen & met my mother in Penzance around 1947.Fantastic picture.
