Penzance Winter 2008
The company of Aukra Bruk still exist and they speak very proudly of the Nautik being their first. This harbour is full of history, apparently PDC want to remove all non operational vessels from the harbour as a part of the Harbour Development Plan. If the subsequent authority carries the same proposals through and the harbour is indeed cleared of paraphernalia like this, then Penzance will lose out. The harbour itself is under threat, IoSSCo is under threat and the beach with its natural life is under threat. All because the idiots want to make money. It is time the value was felt - not just the cost, thing is we pick up the price tag. May as well clear Penzance and build more of the tin shacks that we are already having built, and one of those is planned for the beach area.
Time they all had a brain transplant - except that implies that they already have brains. ::1:

Several people live on these boats in the harbour, and the harbour commissioners pick up a very nice mooring fee from them, and have been happy to do so for several years, now it seems it doesn t suit......typical.
