New signs

Looks like Alverton has got its first sign in Cornish.
Jolly good I say, what! It's not a replacement but a new sign not costing anything more than any sign but giving a nod to Kernewek, the strongest aspect of Cornwall's heritage and its language. As they say, A land that has lost its language has lost its soul! Thanks, Harvey, for that!::7:
 
@ ttp. It would be good if they also replaced the row of pine trees to go with the sign. It looks a bit bare when you drive past now.
 
Sad to think there has been such a row about these, when they don't cost any extra, and add a touch of historical colour.
