This is a postcard from 1913. It is in colour and used a colour process known as Autochrome Lumière that was first put on sale in 1907.

What a treasure these are, they are wonderful. A lot of these places could have been pulled down when they got rid of the slums, hence the building of Gwavas Estate to re house the occupants.
