These are a later part of Hayle Wharves Branch; it closed in 1983, shunting having been undertaken until c1962 on the Penpol line. Beyond the goods yard on North Quay an extension wharf was built to tender to the Power Station, complete with grab cranes and giant truck loader hoppers (on tracks). Some remnants of old yard railway sidings can be seen.
