Phil left the band to go to college and there played for the college band, and finally, not as drummer but as keyboardist/vocalist for the Velvet Touch in Exeter who were Devon Pop Poll Champions in 1970. More recent contributions include drumming for the Golowan Band between 1995 and 2006.
