The modern dwellings built on the site of the Pullman carriage holiday lets. The white building at the far end (with the conservatory) is the Station House pub.
I watched these being built, with disgust; it defies everything that Town and Country Planning used to stand for ... of course, it is now Sustainable Development, whatever that idiotic expression is supposed to mean. Added to which, I saw what these are built on ... watch that space.
It s hard to imagine now looking at the dwellings that for years there were old rail carriages on this site, and I actually miss them but hey I bet most people wont. Sorry for the late reply bayofplenty I ve been busy with things, thanks for taking the trouble to walk out and snap this for me its much appreciated.
If you examine closely the left edge of the frame, you ll find evidence that I didn t walk there, and it wasn t too much of a hardship anyway, with the Station House being there
