outside the Star in Market Jew St

This is pretty dumb. So, where were the traffic wardens that would clobber you or me if we tried something like this on?!

sorry not getting notifications via email... yeah my thoughts exactly as if we did we would get caught wouldnt we!! mind you we did walk down town and back and queued in 2 banks (after bank holiday so was busy in both) and walked back up to see the van drive away in a hurry...so much so that took several attempts to get off the pavement (as in forward then reverse) we waited along with several people whilst he done the manovere and one woman was brave enough to carry on but he wasnt quite off the pavement and was wheel spinning then he went backwards nearly knocking into her! she looked back in horror saw our faces and thought I was lucky!! really no need to park on the pavement no matter what job big or small he was doing. (sorry for my rant!)

I presume that the company was involved in security smithing at The Star and had clearance from the Police, and therefore from Traffic Warden's actions. However there is no real attempt at public safety in sight, besides there is still the matter of protection of the paving.
