Overflow for the Hayle Estuary and River

I thought this was a created wetland, for wildfowl; there is a hide built up near the bridge, I seem to remember. The area is managed.
 
I m sure you must be right. I also think this is where those dreaded mosquitos have been breeding which have plagued Hayle recently, isn t it? It s about time the wildfowl got busy! ::6:
 
Of course the fowl are wild ... they are being watched all the time. There are two resident herons, one each end of the wetland.
