A reminder that inconsiderate parking is nothing new; selfishness and disregard for safety, although wide spread, is not a new disorder of inhumanity.
15th December 1945 at 10 to 1. My mother writes that she was hit on the right shoulder by a grey lorry GRL 762, a girl driver, passing a stationary car outside of Beckeleg's (that was a bakers). It was witnessed by Joan Forward (my aunt) and Lesley Edwards - Road Sweeper, and reported to the constabulary.
