A large lime tree was felled recently by the high winds of winter and so the wall required re-building. This house was once the private school of John Barwis and was later owned by the family and parents of PAS Pool, Penzance historian and sollicitor, and then by the Palk family. It is now under different ownership, consists of apartments and is gradually being extended. The grounds, once its gardens are now filled by houses.
