Calling all former and current pupils, parents and friends of the school!

We are officially launching our Centenary Year this Saturday, 23rd January, with an afternoon celebrating 100 years of education at the Coombe Road site.

The school will be open from 2pm – 4.30pm with an exhibition covering all curriculum areas, as well as memorabilia from 1910 to the present day, and guided tours.

This Centenary milestone will be commemorated with a tree-planting ceremony at 2.15pm attended by local dignitaries and marking the beginning of the school’s next 100 years. To make sure celebrations go with a swing, music throughout the afternoon will be provided by the Humphry Davy Big Big Band, culminating in a recital by the school’s current Music Scholars at 3.30pm.

Hi
I sent you a personal message about this photo. Did you receive it? Just wanted to know if it would be possible to have a copy for the Old Penwithians gallery [Penzance County School and Humphry Davy Grammar School]
