Paul Oxenham, Shane Nicholls, Phil, Mark and Paul Knight, were about to have a warm up football match on the Rec. to get into the spirit of the tournament before England's opener in World Cup 1998 down in the South of France against Tunisia. We were all going to watch the match on TV later. In fact England won through goals by Shearer and Scholes. Note, however, that not everyone was supporting England! Scotland, Cornwall and Brittany appear to have been represented too!
