On 15th June, 1998, it was the day of England's opening Group G match in France against Tunisia. Some pals on the Recreation Ground tried to get into the spirit of the tournament, later to be watched on TV. Here we see Paul Knight packing a punch Shearer-style with this 40-yarder. Paul Oxenham and Shane Nicholls can only look on! England did in fact win 2 - 0 with goals from Shearer and Scholes.
